Title: Water Systems Technician
Reports To: General Manager
Department: Operations
Summary: The purpose of a water technician is to maintain, install, and repair water systems and equipment, to ensure safe and efficient water supply at assigned facilities. Water technicians also perform routine maintenance tasks and diagnose and rectify faults to ensure that systems are running safely and efficiently. They may also be responsible for the installation of new systems and equipment, as well as providing advice and guidance on water safety and conservation.

Water technicians also perform routine maintenance tasks and diagnose and rectify faults to ensure that systems are running safely and efficiently. They may also be responsible for the installation of new systems and equipment, as well as providing advice and guidance on water safety and conservation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for water system start-up and shut down, maintenance, and monthly testing
- Inspects, tests, maintains, and repairs water pumps, water tanks, valves, meters, pipes, and other components of water systems.
- Performs general maintenance and repairs across the district for piping and carpentry.
- Overseeing maintenance on all campgrounds in the district.
- Providing maintenance support to all camp hosts in the district.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of wastewater systems is helpful
- RV/trailer/rig or manufactured converted van required. Must be fully contained (where applicable)
- Able to tow own RV (where applicable) in and out of campgrounds in emergency situations.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to use specialized software
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through our auto carrier
- Knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems is desired
- Water testing licensing and certifications is helpful or willingness to obtain certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to work independently
- Work well under pressure
