What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development/Sales Rep position at Outer Reach Broadband LLC?
We are looking for business development sales reps to help us grow our business by knocking on potential customers' doors in the areas of Skowhegan, Lee, Lakeville, Lincoln, and Millinocket. This is a part-time role that we would like to grow into a full-time sales role with benefits/salary etc. We are looking for a candidate who can work 2-3 days a week and spend the majority of the time door to door canvassing alongside our territory sales manager to start, and then on their own.
Other aspects of the job may include
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities and customer data in the company's CRM system.
- Participation in the weekly sales call to discuss best practices/challenges/results
- Engage with prospective customers throughout their communities to build the Outer Reach brand at a local level.
- Assist with the creation and lead the execution of comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals..
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure their satisfaction and address any further needs or concerns.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales skills and the ability to close deals.
- Growth Mindset willing to learn the industry and take feedback to improve on sales skills.

Minimum of 1 year of experience (in-person or door-to-door)
- The telecommunications or internet service industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- An associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
