Job Summary:
Support the Worship Arts Ministry in executing the creative and production vision by managing logistics, communications, social media, brand consistency, and technical elements that align with OWCC’s overall mission.
Primary Duties:
- Assist in overall church communication strategy through content creation, vision alignment, digital and print media, and effective coordination across various platforms.
- Maintain consistency and alignment of OWCC’s brand identity across various platforms, both online and offline, to maintain a unified and professional image.
- Ensure all digital and online platforms are maintained and updated for weekly rehearsals, services, and events.
- Manage Worship Arts administrative tasks including scheduling, receipts, check requests, and coordinating with contractors.
- Manage church social media platforms and implement strategies that enhance the church's online presence, engagement, and community outreach.
- Serve as a Producer to help ensure high-quality audio and visual elements during worship services, events, and productions, maintaining professional standards for all technical aspects.
- Serve as liaison to staff, volunteers, church members, attendees, community, and vendors when
requested.
- Utilize technology and online platforms to engage the community and facilitate communication within and outside the church.
- Collaborate with church leadership to ensure ministry activities align with the overall strategic goals of OWCC, attend staff meetings, provide regular updates and reports on ministry progress, and handle other assigned duties as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; Bachelors degree is preferred
- 1-2 year(s) of responsibility within worship or creative ministries or related fields.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Mac OS, and Google Suite is required; familiarity with Planning Center Online, Propresenter, Slack, and Basecamp, Mailchimp is advantageous.
- Willing to learn and stay informed about the latest technological advancements relevant to church social media, digital marketing, audiovisual, and production needs.
- Strong skills in planning, organizing, and executing complex creative projects and events, ensuring they align with the church’s mission and goals.
- Capability to lead and manage teams effectively, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities to staff and volunteers involved in creative arts and production.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Periodic lifting/carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds; required visual acuity, speech, and hearing; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination essential for operating a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Tasks may involve sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to fulfill essential functions. Work primarily takes place within an indoor office environment.
