Job Summary
We are seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our Kitchen staff. In this role, you will play a vital part in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Ideal candidates will have a background in the food industry and a love for cooking, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Support cooks in food preparation tasks, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable dining experience for customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic culinary skills, including knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Must be able to follow instructions accurately and demonstrate good knife skills.
