We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).

Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee all nursing operations. This position includes supervisory responsibilities, direct clinical oversight, and coordination of resident care. In the absence of the DON, the ADON assumes full responsibility for the clinical department.
Key Responsibilities
Support and supervise daily nursing services in accordance with resident care plans and physician directives
Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and mentorship, and ensure policy and procedure compliance
Participate in admission evaluations and contribute to care plan development
Attend daily/weekly interdisciplinary meetings to discuss resident care, staffing, and facility operations
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention, and resident safety
Promote a collaborative, professional, and respectful work culture
Serve as acting Director of Nursing when needed
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Indiana
Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care or acute care settings
At least 2 years of nursing supervisory or management experience
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
A commitment to quality care and regulatory compliance
