What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equine Groom position at Outlaw Equine, LLC?
We are looking for a professional groom with horse experience and handling skills.
Job responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Keeping mane and tails clean, brushed, braided and/or in tail bags.
- Grooming horses multiple times daily, keeping them clean and dust free.
- Picking out all 4 hooves morning and evenings.
- Giving full baths when necessary or when patients are going home.
- Maintaining blankets or fly sheets on patients when necessary.
- Maintaining grooming supplies in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Be able to recognize if a patient is losing weight or gaining too much weight and notify the appropriate manager.
- Be able to recognize if patient has a poor hair coat, rubbing tail, or poor feet condition.

Pay Rate
- $15.00-$20.00 hr. - Based on Experience
Experience:
- Horse: 1-2 years (Preferred)
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Work Location: Decatur Clinic
