Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including proper disposal of waste.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to ensure a smooth workflow in the dining area.
• Support food handling procedures by ensuring that all items are sanitized and stored correctly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnaround of clean dishes for food preparation and service.
• Help with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including assisting cooks during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about various aspects of food service, including catering and banquet operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $7.25 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
