As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a dynamic Service Desk Specialist to be part of our IT Services team in Calvert, Mobile County, Alabama.

Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil.
What you will bring:
- IT degree or equivalent qualifications will be reviewed
- Two years of Service Desk or IT support experience
- Experience with standard IT management tools (Active Directory, O365, Windows)
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool
Competencies and Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Mindset to learn and develop skills
- Bilingual is preferred
Some of the key activities you will be responsible for:
- Provide 1st level support for end users through phone calls, chat, email and support portal
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, applying solutions found in the knowledgebase
- Escalate tickets that are unable to be solved in 1st level to 2nd level support teams and 3rd party suppliers
- Support users with requesting IT services
- Ensure that all actions are recorded in our ITMS tool
- Perform user administration tasks in different IT systems
- Use and help develop the existing knowledgebase

Salary Range: US $ 67,500 to $ 92,800
