University Diagnostics is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Are you passionate about patient care? Do you love interacting with people? Come and join our team as a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time flex position of 36-40 hour/week at our outpatient imaging centers located in Knoxville, TN.
This position may require floating between locations (Halls and Hall of Fame).
Possible shifts are as follows:
Monday through Friday availability: 11:00am - 7:30pm / 8:00am - 5:00pm / 7:00am - 7:30pm.

EDUCATION:

JOB SUMMARY:

- Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

EDUCATION:
- Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Skill in operation of radiographic equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
