Keck Medicine of USC Imaging Center, a multi-modality outpatient imaging facility, is seeking an experienced Director of Center Operations to lead and oversee our new location in beautiful Pasadena, CA. Our outpatient imaging center features best-in-class equipment and will be located in a brand-new medical complex opening this summer! Our Director of Center Operations is this imaging center's key leader and will assist with staffing the new location and training with the team prior to opening. Working knowledge of clinical and support service operations, the ability to plan and direct the work of others, and to develop and implement effective administrative policies and procedures. A comprehensive knowledge of modern business and leadership practices is required. Current working knowledge of medical and / or imaging billing, payer contracts, and reimbursement practices to include : coding (ICD9, ICD10, CPT, etc.), billing regulations, preauthorization practices, as well as registration, scheduling, and (TOS) time of service collections processes. A working knowledge of imaging accreditation and applicable industry regulations (ACR, Medicare, etc.). Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Possess the ability to develop program objectives and deadlines and work within approved budget. Proficiency in computer applications, to include MS Office Suite Requirements EXPERIENCE : To be competitive, applicants must have extensive leadership and management experience in a hospital, health care, or related field Applicant must have knowledge of modern business practices and budgeting, accounting, and supervisory techniques A clinical background, specifically in PET or MRI, is a plus! EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree or graduate from an accredited program in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and / or equivalent in experience. Masters Degree is preferred. LICENSE / CERTIFICATION : Candidates with relevant existing licensure or certification will be required to maintain that license or certification. CRA preferred for Clinical Operations.
