Job summary
Outpatient Network are seeking an experienced and dynamic Consultant Gynaecologist with a special interest in Hysteroscopy and General Benign Gynaecology to join our multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in both outpatient clinics and surgical settings.
This includes managing a broad range of benign gynaecological conditions, performing diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopic procedures.
Main duties of the job
- Lead and provide expert care in Hysteroscopy procedures, including diagnostic, operative, and therapeutic interventions for a variety of benign gynaecological conditions.
- Manage general benign gynaecological conditions, including but not limited to fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, and prolapse.
- Deliver a high standard of care with the ability to manage complex cases and collaborate with other medical and surgical specialties where necessary.
- Conduct and interpret relevant clinical investigations, including ultrasound and hysteroscopic findings, to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Provide consultations for patients requiring second opinions or complex management in benign gynaecology.

- Provide consultations for patients requiring second opinions or complex management in benign gynaecology.
- Maintain clear, concise, and accurate medical records for all patients in accordance with hospital policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) and Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
- Specialist Registration in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (or within 6 months of obtaining CCT).
- Subspecialty training or significant experience in Hysteroscopy and Benign Gynaecology.
- Extensive experience in the management of benign gynaecological conditions, with expertise in hysteroscopic surgery.
- Proven track record in leading clinical teams and delivering excellent patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advances in gynaecology.
