Outreach is hiring a Part-time Junior High Teacher at Outreach Warrenville to support students in our after-school program academically and in life skills.
Part-time Temporary Employment from August 2024 until June 2025: 20 – 24 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Working hours will fall between 1:00 pm – 6:30 pm on school days and 10:00 am – 3:30 pm on non-school days. Hours vary during school breaks and holiday weeks. Some evening or weekend hours are required for special events and other program needs. Summer opportunities may also be available.

Responsibilities:
- The PT Junior High Teacher will be a member of the Quest staff providing after-school services to at-risk junior high students in the Warrenville community.
- The PT Junior High Teacher will work with groups of students in academic instruction, community service, life skills instruction, and recreational activities.
- The PT Junior High Teacher facilitates behavior management, team building activities, and transporting students to and from the program.
- Additional responsibilities include record keeping, tuition tracking, and fee collection.
Qualifications:
- BA in education, social work, youth ministry, or a related field.
- Classroom or group experience with adolescents.
- Experience with and sensitivity to the needs of students from low-income, high-risk families.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Team player as well as an independent professional.
- Bilingual (Spanish/ English) strongly preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- A commitment to Outreach's Statement of Mission & Faith.
