Data Analyst

Job Description

As a Data Analyst for Outreach Health, you are responsible for performing extensive data analysis thatwill enhance strategic insight and drive performance. You will gain an understanding of the organizations business process to identify data relationships and functionality requirements. You will also solve complex problems and deliver solutions with real business impact.

Essential Job Functions

Develop and implements databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

Serve as a subject matter expert in data management, data analysis, and research functions for the organization

Collaborate with corporate chiefs, directors, and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement

Prepare, establish, and participate in presentations on strategic initiatives, developing supporting action plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and review/refine strategies

Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions

Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Provide thoughtful analysis to enhance reporting functionality and automation of processes

Develop the strategic use of data and improve program effectiveness to support sound business decisions

Develop and implement a wide range of new and innovative quantitative methods for modeling and forecasting

Analyze data and provide recommendations to complex business scenarios/problems

Gathers critical information to produce useful reporting working closely with department heads, technicians, and managerial staff

Presents data, results, and/or recommendations from projects or process implementations to senior leadership as directed

Identify trends, advise management, and recommend actions based on sound advice

Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making

Required Skills, Education, Certification, License, and/or Experience

Must have a Bachelors degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or similar quantitative discipline

Must have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and react positively and appropriately under pressure

Must have proficient computer skills, in Microsoft suite, and be comfortable with technology changes

Exceptional problem solver with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure

Strong skills in problem solving and interpersonal communication

Excellent time management skills, and strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills, Education, Certification, License, and/or Experience

Masters degree preferred

2 years experience as an analyst preferred

Bilingual is a plus (English and Spanish)
