As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the salon.
Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, trims, and shaves using various techniques tailored to client preferences.
- Provide hair styling services, including blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles.
- Utilize hair threading techniques for precise facial hair shaping.
- Apply makeup as needed for special events or client requests.
- Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients with color treatments and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized consultations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon equipment.
- Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
- Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the cosmetology field.
- Proficiency in hair extensions application and maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in product sales is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- A valid cosmetology license or certification is required.
