Addiction Counselor

Outreach Recovery is a national leader in the treatment of substance use disorders. Outreach Recovery presently has 17 facilities on the East Coast and is growing rapidly. At the present time we are looking to expand our clinical team in our Waldorf, Maryland Location.

We are currently recruiting Licensed/Credentialed Addiction Counselors to join our team at Outreach Recovery.

Main Purpose of Job
The clinician shall complete assessments, evaluations, provide individual and group counseling.

Experience in providing individual and group counseling is required. Outreach Recovery is committed to providing quality care for our clients, and we are looking for clinicians who share that commitment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-The ability to verbally communicate with clients and staff in a clear and concise manner.
-The ability to complete assessments and evaluations for new clients according to Outreach Recovery standards.
-The ability to work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized plans of treatment.
-Complete documentation daily for services provided.
-Be familiar with current approaches towards treatment pertaining to Substance Related Disorders, and ICD 10 codes.
-Be familiar with Maryland Regulations

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification or license (ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LCADC) is required: Trainee Status letter from the State of Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
