The Role

We’re seeking a VP of Product to join Outreach, where generative AI is transforming how sales teams engage with customers and close deals. As a leader in AI-driven sales technology, Outreach is paving the way for smarter, more efficient selling by automating workflows, delivering personalized engagements, and providing data-driven insights.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to drive innovation at the forefront of the market, guiding a highly talented team to deliver impactful solutions. If you’re passionate about AI and want to make a lasting impact on how sales teams operate, this is your chance to lead the charge.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Outline the Outreach Engage product strategy for the next 3 years.
  • Lead product discovery and roadmap sessions with key prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with world-class engineering, data science, and design teams to ship AI / ML features that provide real value to the sales and operations teams who use Outreach to grow their business.
  • Lead and encourage a team of accomplished product managers, enabling high performance and removing obstacles to attainment of their objectives.
  • Drive the strategy for multiple scrum teams and champion new processes and best practices.
  • Partner with product marketing to develop enablement and positioning collateral to share the product team’s work with the world.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to define long-term business strategy, and drive impact on short-term product goals.
  • Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, and strong motivation to tackle their problems.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers.
  • Strong skills around cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication.
  • Ability to achieve clarity and drive focus in complex domains.
  • Strong analytical abilities and prior experience with building business cases, data analysis, and problem solving.
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in building products for B2B SaaS is preferred.
  • 270,000 - $380,000 a yearThe annual base salary range for this role is $270,000-$380,000 USD. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
