The Team

The People Ops team at Outrider is a versatile group managing a range of key responsibilities, including payroll, employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance reviews, among other critical tasks. We are dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace, streamlining operations, and ensuring our teams have the support they need to drive innovation and success.

The Role

Outrider is seeking a highly organized and proactive People Ops Coordinator to join our fast paced team. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and helping us maintain a vibrant and efficient work environment. This role is perfect for someone passionate about HR, enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, and is eager to contribute to a growing company. You will manage a variety of People Ops tasks, ranging from administrative duties to supporting our employee engagement and talent acquisition efforts.

Duties And Responsibilities

• HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, handle HR documentation, and assist with benefits administration.
• Talent Acquisition Support: Coordinate and schedule interviews
• Onboarding and Off-boarding: Coordinate onboarding for new hires and off-boarding for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Immigration: Facilitate the immigration process for our new hires and employees.
• Support current initiatives: deliver on opportunities to streamline People Ops processes and contribute to the development of new initiatives.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an HR or People Operations role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and general HR practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with payroll software and benefits administration.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Wage: $25.00 - $30.00
• Equity: equity package commensurate on experience and skills
• Benefits: Full health benefits
• Hybrid (2-3 days on-site)
• Actual compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor
  
  

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role is primarily based in an office setting with a professional and collaborative work environment. Employees will primarily work at a desk, using computers and other office equipment, with occasional visits to operational areas for team collaboration or project needs.

Physical Requirements Include

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Occasionally moving between meeting rooms and office spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Engaging in discussions and whiteboarding sessions that may require standing or walking for extended periods
