Job Title: Operating Room Nurse
Location: Carbondale, IL 62901
Shift per week: 3, 12-hour shifts, with call required on weekends.
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks (possibility of extension)
Job Summary:· Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment · Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as necessary ·
Active RN licensure in the state of IL required. · BLS certification required. · Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room Nursing experience required. Ability to circulate and scrub. · Proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications. To perform this job successfully within the scope of nursing, the OR RN must have the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to demonstrate any knowledge and skills necessary to deliver care appropriate to age of patients serviced in their assigned department.
