Job Title: RN-Telemetry
Location: Warren, MI 48093
Shift per week: 1900-0730 36 hours, open to 48 hours
Length of Assignment: 12 weeks (possibility of extension)
Summary:
Preferred:
- MUST HAVE 2 years of experience in specialty areas.
- MUST HAVE BLS, ACLS MUST HAVE basic dysrhythmia testing competency This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time 6 week schedules
Certification:
- RN-MI
- BLS
- ACLS
Summary:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Skills:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
