Job Summary
The Epic Willow Ambulatory / Specialty Pharmacy Analyst is responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and supporting the Epic Willow Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy modules and workflows. This role involves performing in-depth analyses of patient and staff workflows, providing informed recommendations and solutions that align with the organization's business requirements, and focusing on improving the patient experience.
Education Requirements
- Preferred : Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- Acceptable : Associate's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with 13 years of relevant experience
Experience Requirements
Required : Certification in Epic Willow Ambulatory at a minimum. Will also require Willow Specialty Pharmacy or Health Planet CertificationRequired : Proven experience in Epic Pharmacy build, application support, triage, and troubleshootingPreferred : Certification in Willow InventoryPreferred : Strong working knowledge of retail pharmacy, clinical, and / or specialty pharmacy workflowsLicensure / Certification / Listing

Thorough understanding of Epic Willow Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy workflows for patient outreach, medication therapy management, prior authorization, therapy compliance, and prescription dispensing.Collaborates with internal and external technical and end-user groups to ensure applications and third-party systems meet the organization's clinical and business needsMaintains knowledge of new technical concepts and solutions and their application to healthcare; assists with implementation and support of third-party systemsPerforms in-depth analysis of end-user department workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues related to design and build decisionsConducts complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected during application data collection / gatheringConverts / translates business and clinical functionalities into system configurations and validates workflowsPlans, prepares, and executes test scripts for application testing, new release testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testingDocuments test results, design, change control, system problems, and internal procedures according to departmental standardsProvides technical application support, triage, and troubleshooting for complex applications; participates in on-call coverage for off-hours and application validation during scheduled downtimesMonitors systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity, and appropriately escalates issues / problemsEnsures all aspects of the application integrate with other cross-functional applications used by the organizationKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
