Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops short and long-range administrative and organizational plans to define responsibilities and business activities consistent with hospital goals and objectives.
- Develops an annual administrative plan and financial plan for the hospital, subject to the authority and control of the hospital's governing board.
- Assists the governing board and hospital's legal counsel in negotiation of professional service contracts.
- Approves performance appraisals and wage modifications, reviews and resolves employee grievances, and makes suggestions as appropriate.
- Maintains administrative responsibility for physicians both inside and outside the hospital, subject to the ultimate responsibility and control of the governing board.
- Acts as a liaison among the hospital's governing board, advisory boards, medical staff, and various hospital departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of public policy, economic developments, and public opinions as they may pertain to the hospitals' organizational goals.
- Prior experience working in a similar role or environment.
Work Environment:
This role requires relocation to Clewiston, FL. The work environment is typical of an office setting, with moderate to prolonged reading, typing, and computer work. Exposure to environmental hazards associated with healthcare and office work may occur.
