Now Hiring : Speech Therapist

Speech Therapist Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Document progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate residents and their families about communication disorders and effective strategies.

    • Speech Therapist Qualifications :

  • Valid Ohio state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Interest in the geriatric population
