What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Support Technician- Onsite position at Ovation Workplace Services Inc.?
We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the planning, configuration, and migration of 74–94 offices from the legacy network to the MMC network across North America. The selected resource will be responsible for:
Making on-site decisions regarding network setup and troubleshooting.
Understanding network infrastructure both physically and logically.
Expertise in SD-WAN solutions (preferably CloudGenix Palo).
Familiarity with wireless systems (preferably Mist).
Proficiency in Cisco switching (Cisco certifications are desirable).
Scope for Smart Hands Support:
Smart Hands resources will assist with on-site tasks at various office locations, including but not limited to:
Moving or checking network and power cables.
Racking or replacing network equipment.
Labeling of equipment.
Auditing and documenting site infrastructure.
Testing equipment post-installation.
Documenting equipment and circuits on-site.
Handling shipping and boxing of network equipment.
Salary : $54,000 - $56,000
