- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems, software, and hardware issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems (Windows and Mac OS).
- Set up and configure computer peripherals such as printers, scanners, and network devices.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, DNS, firewall).
- Perform software installations, updates, and patches.
- Conduct hardware repairs and upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient operation of the desktop environment.
- Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base for future reference
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of desktop support principles and practices,
Duties:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Experience with Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and concepts.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with software troubleshooting and problem- solving techniques.
- Understanding of firewall configurations and security protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
