Network Support Technician
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in SDWAN, wireless systems, and Cisco switching. The candidate must be capable of making decisions on-site, and have a strong understanding of both the physical and logical components of network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute network migrations from legacy infrastructure to network across various office locations.
- Plan, configure, and troubleshoot network solutions in collaboration with project teams.
- Ensure network systems (SDWAN, Wireless, Cisco Switches) are properly configured and operational.
- Handle on-site decision-making, adjusting configurations as required based on field conditions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues during and post-migration.
- Ensure network availability and reliability by applying best practices and optimal configurations.
- Work closely with internal teams to design network solutions that align with the company’s goals.
- Assist in the integration of SDWAN solutions (Cloudgenix Palo, desirable), and wireless systems (Mist, desirable).
- Participate in the testing and validation of network components post-installation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SDWAN (Cloudgenix Palo, desirable).
- Experience with Cisco Switching (Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are desirable).
- Understanding of wireless systems (Mist, desirable).
- Solid understanding of network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in working with network hardware and software platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in real-time.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while coordinating with remote teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
