Job Responsibilities
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room and take all food orders in an efficient manner, following the established steps of service.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients, and advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks.
- Communicate directly with back of the house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly, and all special requests are addressed and accommodated.
The server will also be responsible for delivering food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards, and ensuring that the dining room/area is properly set-up prior to and after service periods.
