Responsibilities Of An Account Director, Client Services
At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.
For our Director positions, our compensation ranges from $123,000 to $228,000, which is inclusive of a 30% bonus.

Responsibilities Of An Account Director, Client Services
- Account performance and strategy
- Develop and drive cross-channel media and measurement strategies that align with client priorities, focusing on long-term business growth (1-3 years)
- Leverage data-driven insights from market analysis, audience behavior, and advanced performance analytics to inform strategic recommendations and optimal media investment mix
- Establish and implement robust reporting and measurement frameworks to continuously test, refine, and enhance media strategies
- Own account health and performance, ensuring regular and timely communication with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively monitor performance KPIs, identifying and removing barriers to maintain momentum and maximize impact
- Team leadership and employee development
- Actively mentor and coach account teams, Account Managers, and future Account Directors, helping them navigate complex client challenges
- Structure and optimize team workflows, ensuring clear roles, resource allocation, and alignment with subject matter expertise
- Cultivate a culture of open communication, accountability, and 360-degree feedback, fostering continuous growth and innovation
- Inspire teams to achieve quarterly, annual, and long-term goals, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks
- Strategic Client Partnership & Growth
- Lead and grow the overall relationship and performance of 2-4 major Ovative accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Establish trust and act as a strategic advisor, bringing deep expertise in digital media, measurement, and business strategy
- Own and execute the relationship strategy, building strong partnerships with key decision-makers beyond day-to-day contacts to drive long-term success
- 10 years of experience owning and driving cross-functional business strategies. Must bring a strong, data-driven point of view, using structured problem-solving, analytical rigor, and clear communication to guide decision-making and execution
- 5 years of experience managing and developing direct reports, with a proven ability to mentor and coach teams, structure workflows, and align resources to strategic business priorities
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies, leveraging market insights, audience behavior, and advanced analytics to inform media investment decisions and long-term planning. Use ongoing performance and testing results to recommend strategic and tactical shifts to maximize business impact
- Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, ensuring accountability, clarity, and strong execution across workstreams
- Deep business acumen and expertise in how digital media, measurement, and strategy drive enterprise growth, with the ability to connect marketing performance to broader business objectives
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to establish trust with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and lead strategic conversations beyond day-to-day execution
