Position Summary:
The Entry Level Marketing Content Coordinator will support the efforts of the marketing and communications department and perform a variety of functions in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, a strong sense of professionalism, and the ability to work within a team.
Location: Wyoming, MI
Work Model: Onsite/Hybrid | Average of 15-hours per week during school year with option to transition to a full-time intern on May 19 to end date.
Employment End Date: Friday, August 8th with potential for extension based on business need.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Assist with social media – special focus on Instagram
- Collect content for blog posts, work with agents to build out blog post content calendar
- Build SharePoint sites for marketing
- Assist with account management on producer prospective/client lists
- Create mid-year, end of year, and check-in presentations
- Any other duties and tasks that are required by the Company.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant degree preferred.
- Entry level
- Ability to work onsite or in a hybrid capacity (management discretion).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Proficiency in social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram required.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social mediate marketing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Warm, approachable, savvy, and empathetic. Creating trust is a vital function of this role.
- Ability to conceptualize and think creatively. Open to exploring new ways of approaching work that can improve results, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Extremely strong oral and written communication skills.
- High energy work ethic with ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
