Billing Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Billing Analyst to become an integral part of our team. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of day-to-day financial activities. This full-time position requires to work on- site at our office in Downtown Los Angeles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyzes all billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepares, issues, and sends invoices.
- Reviews invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
- Reconciles invoices with AR reports and resolves discrepancies.
- Communicates with internal teams and other departments, resolves issues, and provides clarifications.
- Ensures internal billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
- Manages sector needs include billing, financial reporting and creating dashboards.
- Generates analytical, forecasting, trends, reports, to prepare for monthly/quarterly/annual financial meetings with senior management.
- Collaborates with sector leads, project managers, accounting group in financial meetings and/or provides financial updates as needed.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Understanding billing cycles, invoicing methods and payment processing.
- Familiarity with different billing models.
- Knowledge of basic account principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Experience with billing and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Awareness of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to billing practices (e.g. GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing and financial records.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or related, preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong in Excel (Pivot Tables, Charts/Graphs).
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
