What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at OVER THE RAINBOW CHILD CARE CENTER?

Our staff, students, and parents are united in one big OTR family, and we are looking for two teachers who want to join our team. Position Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required, but a CDA/Associate degree or higher is preferred.
1 year of professional teaching experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, The Creative Curriculum, ITERS, ECERS and NJ Early Learning Standards.
Dependability, adaptability, reliability, and the ability to work with children of all backgrounds and their families. In some cases, staff members need to work with children with special needs, and their appropriate developmental therapists.

Role Responsibilities:
Create a safe, nurturing, welcoming, engaging classroom space for all children to learn, play and grow.
Verbally engage children throughout the day in addition to incorporating play activities.
Supervise children on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys, as well as in cribs/cots for nap time.
Ensure all areas of the classrooms are kept clean.
Set up daily lesson plans and implement our curriculum, The Creative Curriculum, in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
Communicate regularly with parents.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
