JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a product designer to do meaningful work in building out the future of philanthropy and shape how designers work at Overflow. As a member of the team, you will be working on the core functionality of the Overflow product. You will work in a fast-paced environment, work closely with engineering and product teams and immediately jump into delivering impactful experiences. Product designers take a lead role in ensuring designs are well-implemented, solutions are shipped and that we get feedback directly from customers on their challenging problems. As a bonus, you’re joining on the ground floor in building the system, strategy and processes for how designers work at Overflow.
REPORTS TO
Head of Product - Franck Xian
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with a cross-functional team to design and build a best-in-class user experience
Tackle complex areas and new strategic bets that will inspire people to be generous
Strategically influence the product roadmap
Act as a leader within the Product Design team, collaborating with other designers to make their work and the team better
Work through design problems from beginning to end, from translating research insights to shipping new products and features
Partner closely with engineers to deliver up-leveled experiences
Participate in design critiques and present work regularly in product leadership feedback meetings
Lead research and generate powerful insights to improve product design
Help evolve Overflow’s design processes and guidelines
Build and prototype ideas quickly and connect regularly with customers to validate product direction

Commitment to serving the evangelical Christian church space, alongside wider 501(c)3 non profit space
DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & APTITUDES
3 years of experience designing end-to-end enterprise solutions across mobile and desktop platforms
Proven track record of shipping successful products, ideally in the B2B, SaaS, or fintech space
Strong understanding of the product development cycle, from problem-solving to crafting user interfaces
A self-starter who can adapt quickly, collaborate effectively with engineers, and contribute immediately
Experienced in owning and driving features or projects through an end-to-end design process
Skilled at communicating design work and rationale clearly to stakeholders at various levels
Experience with design systems is a plus
Expert in Figma is required
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
BASE SALARY Payable on a bi-monthly basis & subject to all withholdings & deductions as required by law
EQUITY GRANT Subject to approval by Board of Directors, 4 year vest, 1 year cliff
