We are seeking a dependable, friendly, hardworking employee that is eager to learn the Commercial aspect of our trade with hopes of committing to a challenging and versatile career.

• Creative problem solving, repairing, and running diagnostics on door and gate operating systems.
• Installing doors, dock levelers, servicing companies within 100 miles
• Strong ability to work diligently in a 2-person team environment, engage positively with customers, and lead by example is a must.
• This position involves routine exposure to the outdoor elements, extended periods of driving truck and trailer, operating lifts, and hands-on mechanical work.
• It is a great feeling of accomplishment to work hard and see it pay off in applications such as within Hospitals, Warehouses, Sand Mines, and New Construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Professionally represent company as a direct employee while developing and maintaining customer rapport, outstanding communication, and customer service.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial door applications: openers and related components, diagnose problems, replace, or repair doors, openers and parts. Document on company provided software.
• Regularly perform job duties in a variable environment often under conditions of summer heat and winter cold.

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined: will perform brief assessment at interview.
• Stable work history. No gaps in employment (within reason)
• Employees should always present a neat, professional appearance and be well-groomed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT licensing requirements and be insurable to drive.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Required skills:

• Proficient use of technology, using custom software to generate billing.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders of up to 15 feet, carrying required equipment.

Education Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.

Compensation: Starting at $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, with hourly pay increases of $5-$10/hr on certain job sites

• Depending on relative experience. We offer a generous compensation package, along with merit-based bonuses.
• Uniform is provided after probationary period.

Hours, Overtime, and Bonus Opportunity

• Four 10-hour shifts. 7am-5pm.
• Overtime paid on daily basis
• Emergency service calls taken outside business hours to earn double-time pay.
