Are you a detail-oriented and experienced payroll and benefits professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a skilled individual to manage payroll and benefits administration for our growing company of 45-50 employees.
About the Role:
As our Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, as well as the administration of employee benefits programs. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll and benefits regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Manage benefits enrollment and changes.
- Reconcile benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay up-to-date on payroll and benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings.
- Generate reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Processor and Benefits Administrator.
- Strong understanding of payroll and benefits regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, COBRA).
- Experience with payroll software (mention specific software if applicable).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Compensation:
$20 - $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
