Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail environment. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring a positive experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Applier will need to be able to go to jobsites and review projects with customers, selling our products and services.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in determining products they need and assisting them in completing projects.
• Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Utilize math, construction, and customer service skills to manage projects accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving timelines for orders
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate effective phone and email etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
• Coordinate on site meetings with customers to review projects they need assistance with

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with commercial construction is a plus but not required.
• Ability to sell products confidently while providing excellent customer service.
• Basic knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is essential.
