Pay range:
$29.64 - $48.021.0 FTE / 40 hours per week
Evening shift / 8 Hour Shift
The Certified Anesthesia Technicians are members of the surgical team who work under the direction of the Anesthesiologist, the Lead Anesthesia Technician, charge nurse and the Nurse Manager. They provide technical support to the Anesthesiologist, Registered Nurse and other medical personnel. They work as a member of the operating room team. May provide care to patients of various ages.
Qualifications - Anesthesia Technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Currently licensed in Washington State as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist is required.
- Current certification (Cer.A.T.) by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) is required within 6 months of hire.
- Prior recent experience as an Anesthesia Tech or graduate of an accredited anesthesia tech program is required.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with the Surgical Services team. Demonstrated organizational skills.
Qualifications - Certified Anesthesia Technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current certification (Cer.A.T.) by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) is required.
- ACLS certification required prior to start.
- Currently licensed in Washington State as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist is required.
- Two years’ experience as an Anesthesia Technician is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with the Surgical Services team. Demonstrated organizational skills.
