Pay range:
$25.42 - $38.13Full-Time / 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday / 8 hour Day shift
The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all Urology procedures. This is including but not limited to coordinating necessary aspects leading to procedure, all specific details within surgery, and coordination of follow-up care if applicable. Handle the complexities of the specialty procedure scheduling with proficiency and knowledge. Obtain prior authorization from insurance companies for all Urology procedure cases and related testing. Initiating peer to peer reviews and starting appeals if appropriate. This position also requires uploading all medical record information Epic and being a point of contact for patients who are having their procedure done at Overlake.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical or hospital scheduling environment required.
Prior surgery or procedure scheduling experience preferred.
If applicable, must maintain licensure/certification as appropriate to profession (i.e. MA certification, CPR, etc.).

How much will this job pay?
Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale, from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift, certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience and internal equity.
