Nursing Professional Development / Clinical Education Specialist - Behavioral Health

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, dynamic, Registered Nurse with an outstanding depth of knowledge in Surgical Services to join our team and drive our ongoing commitment to excellence.
The primary role of this position will be to support regulatory requirements including State WPV, restraints, suicide monitoring and assessment; planning for complex and disruptive patients; driving quality outcomes; leading initiatives on care planning for reduction of sitter hours; and reduction of workplace violence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters degree in Nursing (MN,MSN) or Master's of Education (M.Ed) preferred.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Washington.
- Health Care Provider CPR Certification
- Three years nursing experience in acute healthcare setting required.
- In-patient Behavioral Health experience required.
- Experience in adult education, teaching, program planning, development, coordination and evaluation process highly desired.
- Experience in quality improvement efforts, facilitation and group process knowledge and skills preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in collaborative communication.
