Pay range : 27.45 - $41.18
Responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties and working independently to provide support to the Manager of Medical Staff Services, Medical Staff Services' staff and others as requested. Participates in Medical, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Allied Health Providers (AHPs) Staff credentialing by maintaining evidence of current licensure and certifications, responding to hospital verification requests, and processing quality reports.
Temporary Role - 6 Month Assignment
Full Time / Day Shift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three years of experience working in an administrative support role preferred. Health care experience highly desired.
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills, whether in person, over email or by telephone. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to attend to detail and manage multiple functions simultaneously with frequent interruptions. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to prioritize workloads. Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of tasks while dealing with unexpected time frames. Requires professional demeanor, critical thinking skills, ability to discern and maintain confidentiality,, along with a positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
