RN - Echo Cardiology / Nuclear Medicine Cardiology (.9 FTE / Days)

Overlake Hospital is seeking a RN for our Echocardiography and Interventional Units. This nurse will work primarily in Echo and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, supervising stress tests, starting IVs, and providing contrast administration support. This nurse will ensure that patients are safe to proceed with stress testing and respond to any emergencies that arise once testing has begun. They will work closely with cardiologists and cardiac sonographers to guarantee patients receive a safe and diagnostic-quality study.

Current opening : .9FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period) , Days , 9 Hour Shift

Required Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred
• Current WA state RN license
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification and ACLS
• Minimum of one year working in Interventional Unit
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Note : RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms.
