What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Overland Charters?
The Sales Manager will be responsible for creating and organizing quotes and securing contracts to new and existing clients of Overland Charters. The candidate will work directly with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Safety, Dispatch, HR, Business Development, and the Owner coordinating the marketing of services to business relationships. Following up with Overland Charters contracts and employees and identifying new opportunities is paramount. Applicant should have a minimum of two years of experience in sales with preferably some marketing or be a fast learner and enjoy driving growth.
This candidate will be considered for Assistant General Manager or Director of Sales.
Starting Salary $34,500 to $50,000 annually.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience and discipline. We are rapidly expanding!
The candidate (if they choose) could eventually relocate our OKC or DFW locations. Wichita KS is our headquarters and the top sales manager would be part of huge growth.
- Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must have a client and customer-friendly personality.
- Must have good communication: oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Business Degree is a plus.
- Be self-motivated and a confident professional.
