Position Overview : Job Purpose

Oversight is seeking an innovative, experienced Technical Delivery Engineer who will be responsible for working with our Channel Delivery team and Channel Partner to implement Oversight software for our clients. As the Technical Delivery Engineer on our growing team, you will be responsible for multiple simultaneous projects in a high-volume delivery environment. This includes technical provisioning, configuration, and quality assurance of client SaaS Oversight environments.

Qualifications

Educational and / or professional experience in software implementation
Advanced Experience writing, debugging, and executing SQL queries
Experience using tools to track and measure the software implementation project metrics including quality and speed of the software implementation
Experience continuously improving the quality and speed of the software implementation process
Ability to debug and diagnose anomalies, issues and / or system gaps with curiosity, initiative and urgency
Experience facilitating meetings and gathering requirements
Experience managing high volume and rapid software implementation projects
Ability to do presentations for external clients
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Learn the features, functions and uses of Oversight’s product suite

When issues emerge, identify root causes and drive for efficient solutions and resolution

Communicate effectively and maintain a proactive, positive relationship with all company departments

You will also assist with :

Defining implementation standards and processes

Measuring implementation metrics including quality and speed

Applying continuous improvement and process improvement changes

Consistently and accurately track time and expenses as required

Make suggestions to continuously improve Oversight process, techniques tools, and customer outcomes

Keep up to date with changes to company products, tools, processes and documentation

Perform other related duties, as assigned, to contribute to the culture, transformation and success of the department, organization and customer

Candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment

Candidate must be able to work independently with normal supervision; candidates requiring micromanagement and lacking initiative need not apply

Candidate must be organized and analytical, with the ability to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches

Candidate must be fully committed to conducting business with the utmost integrity and in full compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Candidate must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills

Team player willing to help others and the team collectively succeed

Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a computer science or related technical field strongly preferred

SQL / Spark SQL / Pyspark SQL or other related technical certification strongly preferred

Experience with creating, understanding, and modifying Python code preferred

Experience with navigating Bitbucket preferred

Experience with YAML concepts a plus

Experience with Databricks and AWS (S3) a plus

Experience with popular T&E or financial systems is a plus
