Position: NFL Flag Football Camp Director
Location: Falls Church, VA
Job Type: Seasonal / Part-Time
Compensation: $20 - 25 /hr

Overtime Athletics is a licensed NFL Flag Football League operator and premier provider of youth sports programs, offering high-energy, skill-focused camps that encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun. Our NFL Flag Football Camp provides young athletes with an opportunity to learn and develop their football skills in a non-contact, inclusive environment.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate NFL Flag Football Camp Director to oversee the daily operations of our flag football camp. This role involves managing staff, ensuring a safe and engaging camp experience, and creating a positive atmosphere where young athletes can grow in their skills and confidence. The Camp Director will be responsible for staff leadership, program execution, and overall camp success.

Responsibilities:

Program & Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the NFL Flag Football Camp.
• Develop and implement engaging football drills, games, and skill-building activities.
• Ensure that all activities align with NFL Flag Football guidelines and safety standards.
• Manage game schedules, scrimmages, and camper evaluations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper setup and breakdown each day.

Staff Leadership & Supervision:

• Recruit, train, and supervise camp counselors and coaches.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment for staff and campers.
• Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring high-quality coaching and camper engagement.
• Conduct staff meetings and address any concerns or challenges as they arise.

Camper & Parent Engagement:

• Ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for all campers.
• Address camper behavioral issues and ensure adherence to camp rules.
• Communicate with parents regarding camper progress, safety, and any concerns.
• Serve as the main point of contact for parents, addressing questions and feedback.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and injury prevention measures.
• Ensure first aid and emergency procedures are properly followed.
• Report and document any injuries or incidents.

Qualifications:

• Experience in youth sports coaching, camp management, or athletic program coordination.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of NFL Flag Football rules and best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of coaches and counselors.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Background check clearance required.
