Job Title: Summer Camp Staff
Location: Private School (Bothell, WA)
Camp Hours: 9am-4:30pm
2025 Camp Weeks:
- June 16th - June 20th
- June 30 - July 3rd
- July 7th - July 11th
- July 21st - July 25th
- July 28th - Aug 1st
- Aug 4th - Aug 8th
- Aug 11th - Aug 15th
Work Shift Per Day: 8:45am - 4:45pm (40-hour week)
Position Pay: $18 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
Overtime Athletics Summer Kids Camp is a traditional day camp focusing on sports and games while incorporating team building and creative segments of the day. These segments may include arts and crafts, projects, classroom games, special activities like water day games, movie day, nerf battles, video game station and more! Our mission is to provide the highest quality of youth summer programming focusing on safety, fun and affordability for families.
Position Summary:
Responsible for supervision of a designated camp group of 10-15 kids. Leads the supervision of campers aged 5-12, implementing camps daily activities, games & agenda. Demonstrates Overtime Athletics’ commitment to its core values of respect, responsibility, and caring in all actions to serve as a role model.
Essential Functions:
- Manage camp group daily
- Lead, supervise & control a camp group of up to 15 kids daily
- Organize and set-up daily camp activities, games and sports play
- Play in the camp games and activities with campers
- Listen and solve camper issues daily
- Implement Overtime Athletics Camp Curriculum and create daily agenda
Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Highly energetic leader
- Physically able to participate in PE & sports games with elementary aged campers
- Strong communication skills with adults and children
- Physically able to work outside & indoors during summer temperatures (heat, sun & rain)
- Ability to create and execute a plan
- Athletically inclined
- Must attend & complete mandatory camp training (unpaid)
Required Experience:
- Experience working with kids in a similar summer camp setting, school aftercare or sports coaching.
- Experience supervising & leading elementary aged kids
- General knowledge of sports rules and PE type games
- CPR & First Aid Certified is a plus but not required!
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
