Job Title: Summer Sports Camp Staff (Temporary/Seasonal)
Camp Site Locations: Peter Kirk Elementary (Kirkland, WA) & Old Redmond School House (Redmond, WA)
Position Summary:
OTA Sports Camp Staff lead the supervision, game play & skill stations of campers aged 5-14. Manage customer service needs with campers & parents, implements, and delivers daily camp sports agenda of games, skills and play to ensure a quality camp experience for campers. OTA staff demonstrate Overtime Athletics’ commitment to its core values of respect, responsibility, and caring in all actions to serve as a role model.
2025 OTA Summer Sports Camps in Kirkland, WA & Redmond, WA:
- June 23rd – June 27th (Dodgeball Camp)
- July 7th – July 11th (Basketball Camp)
- July 14th - July 18th (Basketball Camp)
- Aug 18th – Aug 22nd (Basketball Camp)
*All Camps Are Held Outside Rain or Shine
Camp Ages: 7-13
Camp Size: 12-40 kids
Camp Hours: 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm | Work shifts are 3.5 hours. Staff are required to arrive 15min before and stay 15min after is to provide daily camp set up, and post camp dismissal needs, and camp site clean-up.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage camp group daily basis
- Organizing, teaching, and demonstrating sports skills, sports game play rules, and sports play scrimmaging among assigned camp group
- Listen and solve parent and camper issues
- Implement Overtime Athletics Summer Camp Curriculum and create daily/weekly agendas
- Physically leading camp activity segments, games and segments for groups or entire camp audience
Job Requirements:
- Highly energetic
- On Time & Reliable
- Strong communication skills with adults and children
- Basic Sports Game Play Rules Knowledge
- Ability to create and execute an agenda of games, skill work & scrimmage play
- Athletically inclined, willing to participate playing games in summer heat
- Must attend & complete mandatory camp training (unpaid)
Required Experience:
- 1 years’ experience playing sports
- 1 years’ experience in sports, or summer camp or similar youth program setting
Position Pay:
$17 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
