Overtime Athletics (OTA) is a leader in youth sports enrichment, offering fun, multi-sport programs to kids across the region. We are looking for a Team Lead in Louisville to help us launch and manage our after-school and seasonal programs. This is a part-time position, starting in August, with responsibilities that will ensure smooth operations and a high-quality experience for both kids and coaches.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and Onboarding: Interviewing and hiring coaches, ensuring they meet OTA’s standards and cultural fit.
- Training Coaches: Conducting training sessions to ensure all coaches are properly prepared for their roles. (Training plans are provided.)
- Coaching Staff Management: Scheduling coaching teams and managing the sub plan. You will be the primary contact for ensuring that all classes are fully staffed and running smoothly.
- Program Coordination: Distributing gear and coordinating equipment exchanges to ensure that all teams have what they need to succeed.
- Filling In When Needed: Stepping in as a coach when necessary to ensure that all classes are properly staffed.
- Communication: Maintaining communication with parents, schools, and coaches to ensure alignment with program goals and expectations.

- In the summer, the role will transition to Camp Director for OTA’s summer programs in 2026, offering a seamless transition from the after-school programs to summer camps, making this a year-round opportunity with changing responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in youth sports programs, coaching, or management is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with both adults (coaches, parents, school staff) and children.
- Must be reliable, proactive, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Comfortable working both in office settings and in the field at school locations.
- Background Check and CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect) Check are required for this role.
