Job Description:
Title: Youth Sports Instructor
An OTA Instructor Must:
· Have experience working with kids
· Be comfortable working in an athletic setting
· Have some knowledge of sports
· Be available to work from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm and/or 1:00pm to 3:00pm
· Have your own transportation
· Be punctual
· Be professional
· Be patient
· Implement high-energy and fun classes
Work Responsibility:
· Part-time position (available Weekdays)
· You are required to arrive 15 min early and stay 15 minutes after class (or until every child has been dismissed).
· It is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of work per day you are scheduled.
· There are mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
· Set up and Clean up
· Supervising children during all segments of the day
· Refereeing and/or appropriately participating in camp games
· Create a positive camp experience
· Follow all OTA policies and procedures
· Execute the implementation of games/activities, including set up and breakdown
Job Logistics:
· There will be a lead instructor and support instructor at each class
· Each instructor is responsible for their issued equipment bags
· Classes are split into grades K-2 or grades 3-5
· Classes are usually between 10-20 kids
· Pay is $20 hour
Experience and License/Certification:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
