What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Shooter/Producer/Editor (Chess) position at Overtime?
Overtime is looking for a chess enthusiast and production expert to create original chess content for social media and streaming platforms.
What You'll Do
- Shoot, produce and edit original chess content for Overtime
- Manage Overtime’s chess social accounts on all platforms
- Conceptualize, oversee, and produce a wide variety of chess-related video content (short-form social, documentary, live competition)
- Follow trends and devour analytics to optimize video and account performance
- Make and manage connections in the chess world, both online and over-the-board
- Manage projects from conceptualization to completion — ideation, pre-production, shooting, lighting, editing, color correction, audio mastering, and delivery
Who You Are
- Chess geek as familiar with creators as grandmasters
- Adobe Premiere wizard
- Capable shooter competent with phones and mirrorless and/or cinema camera
- Creative storyteller looking to create and execute new formats
- An experienced and uninhibited producer
- This position requires some travel (primarily in the tri-state area) and a minimum of three days per week in our Brooklyn office
Overtime expects the salary range for this position to fall between $75k-85k annually. Salary is dependent on the individuals years of experience and skill set. Overtime also offers a flexible vacation package, health benefits and stock options in the company.
