YouTube Strategist
Overtime is looking for a multi-talented digital media professional for the position of YouTube Strategist.
The ideal candidate for this position will be ready to work cross-functionally across Overtime’s Content and Production teams to ensure our videos are optimized across all channels for YT. Additionally, this individual will work closely with live Broadcast teams to maximize live game viewership.
The YouTube Strategist will be expected to project manage across multiple concurrent leagues and channels. Project management skills and proactive communications will be key across internal departments to ensure viewership goals are being met or exceeded.
Our team is based in Brooklyn (DUMBO) and works a hybrid schedule with Tuesday-Thursday in office.
What you’ll do:
- Come up with video ideas for YouTube channels across Overtime’s YouTube ecosystem (Overtime, OTE, Overtime SZN, Overtime Select, etc)
- Assists Editor-in-Chief with running A/B test on titles and thumbnails across YouTube channels
- Interpret video retention charts and CTR and work with editors, thumbnail designers and shooters to continually improve and optimize these metrics
- Work with production team on our OTE and OT7 livestreams to maximize average and concurrent viewers
- Utilizing your understanding of data management and how to interpret YT data, create reports to be shared across the Content team to ensure visibility into video performance
Who you are:
- 4 years of experience working in the media industry across digital content metrics, optimization, and reporting
- Expertise with YT studio and experience interpreting and manipulating YT studio data is required
- You LOVE consuming digital content and are well-versed in all of the social platforms
- You understand Overtime’s content voice and audience
- Comfortable wearing many hats, and bouncing between different projects from minute-to-minute
- A self-starter, always looking for people and projects that could use a helping hand
- Your organization and communication skills are ELITE
- You have incredible attention-to-detail
