Job Summary­­­­­­

The Financial Analyst is responsible for conducting financial analysis to support strategic initiatives. This role involves gathering and analyzing data to inform decision-making, assisting in the preparation and review of annual budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals, and providing necessary support throughout the budgeting process. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will drive continuous process improvement, implementation, and documentation while exercising independent judgment in non-routine tasks. A proactive approach and a commitment to enhancing financial processes are essential for success in this position.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To successfully perform this job, the individual must be able to perform all essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

  • Assist with gathering, verifying and performing initial analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights that inform strategic business decisions.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools such as Power BI and Tessitura Analytics to create visual reports and dashboards, enabling enhanced data interpretation and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Oversee Acumatica upgrades and customizations, collaborating with the Tessitura team to coordinate financial team needs, including Tessitura v16 testing, troubleshooting, and providing support for Velixo-related issues.
  • Manage accounting relationships with Resident Organizations, process weekly payments for receipts collected on their behalf, assist in ticket settlement for their performances, and provide financial reports as requested.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and other financial reporting needs. Perform financial analysis and reporting as required by leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Administer souvenir commission calculations and manage weekly deposits, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve, implement and document accounting processes and procedures, driving efficiency and consistency across the organization.

Qualifications____________________________________________________________________
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or other related field or equivalent related experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in finance/data analysis or related field.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Perform responsibilities with a high degree of integrity, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and clarity.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Pover BI required.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • GAAP knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and with accuracy in a fast paced, dynamic and highly collaborative environment. 
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with high accuracy and productivity.

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands: 

  • The ability to communicate over the telephone/video.
  • The ability to perform extensive work at a computer. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time and use the computer and telephone. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand for long periods of time; reach with hands and arms and communicate both in person and by telephone/video.
  • The nature of this job requires the employee to work on-site frequently.

 

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Travel: This position is not expected to require travel.
