Controller

Are you a seasoned financial professional with a strong understanding of healthcare operations? We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team at Overture Home Care in Fort Worth. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for ensuring the financial health of the agency, with a strong focus on billing, payroll, financial reporting, insurance management, and contract compliance.

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting
• Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and resolution of payment discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents
• Ensure compliance with payroll processes and labor laws

Contract & Insurance Oversight

• Manage long-term care and VA contracts, ensuring accurate billing and documentation
• Oversee business and employee health insurance coverage, renewals, and claims
• Collaborate with insurance brokers, vendors, and internal departments

Compliance & Audit Preparation

• Maintain awareness of and compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare financial regulations
• Lead audit preparation and ensure accurate and timely documentation

Team & Office Support

• Lead the business office team to maintain efficient financial operations
• Support the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to ensure timely payroll processing
• Assist with budget planning, forecasting, and identifying cost-efficiency opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial or office management, preferably in healthcare
• Knowledge of VA and long-term care contracts is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and financial platforms like QuickBooks or Paylocity
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients
